Indus Paragliding is a professional paragliding school based in Kamshet, near the famous tourist spot of Lonavla. Our base is on the old Mumbai-Pune expressway approx. 110 Kms. from Mumbai (Bombay) city.
Indus base
We are located at Karla on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway. The ‘Base’ includes accommodation for staff, students and guests. Ample indoor and outdoor training area within the premise provides good atmosphere for basic ground training, theory sessions and interactive video sessions.
Paragliding sites
Tower Hill – One of the well known flying sites in the Western Ghats is in close proximity to our base. The training hill is 10 km away on the same highway. The Pavna Dam site and Shelar mountain sites are also within driving distance.
Courses
Indus is conducting courses for EP (Elementary Pilot) and CP (Club Pilot) based on the BHPA (British Hang gliding and Paragliding Association) system. Courses are aimed at developing our students into confident pilots.>>more
Equipment
Indus has acquired a wide range of high quality certified international standard paragliding gear. These are manufactured by the best European paragliding companies. Indus Paragliding is also the representative for couple of these companies in India, thus a long term support is already in place.
Tandem Joyrides
Apart from the courses Indus also provides paragliding joyrides to people who do not have enough time to go through a course or who are only interested in experiencing the thrill of free flying.
