Scuba Diving in Havelock Islands

I am told by 'experts' that once you have logged about 50 dives, you are well on your way to becoming a committed diver. I might just be getting there...

As a family we keep going back to the Havalock Islands for diving and for general chilling. A great little island and thankfully not yet overrun by tourist. Mainly because it is expensive to fly there -- that kind of money can get you to Thailand.

If you like diving are want to try out diving this is one lovely place. There are a couple of good schools. We have been going to DiveIndia and have been happy with the experience. I have also heard good things about Barefoot Scuba from friends in the know.

If you are new and want my advise, the first thing I'd say is take it easy - don't rush to collect as many certificates in as few days as possible. Get comfortable with the equipment, water, boats and the amazing marine life... If you really enjoy the experience of diving the certificates will come.
